Welcome to HFA Live Score: Foot Afrique ("the App"), published by HFA ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you disagree, please do not use the App.

1. Data We Collect

2. How We Collect Your Data

• Directly from you: during registration, preference setup, and your use of the App.
• Automatically: through analytics tools (Amplitude) and notification services (Firebase).
• From third parties: if you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from these platforms.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you reside in the European Union (including France), we process your data on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: account creation, content personalization, notification delivery.
• Legitimate interest: App improvement, usage analysis, security.
• Consent: marketing communications (you may withdraw your consent at any time).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with:

• Supabase (database hosting) — secure storage of your account data and preferences.
• Firebase / Google (push notifications) — FCM token management for notification delivery.
• Amplitude (analytics) — anonymized usage data to improve the experience.
• Google / Facebook (authentication) — only when signing in through these services.

We may also share data if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Storage and Security

• Account data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL, cloud-hosted).
• Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using flutter_secure_storage (system-level encryption).
• Analytics data is processed by Amplitude.
• We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain it longer.

Anonymized analytics data may be retained longer for statistical purposes.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and applicable laws, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data.
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your data.
• Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object: object to the processing of your data.
• Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent at any time.

You may also file a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés) or any other competent data protection authority.

8. Children's Data

The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States (Supabase, Firebase, Amplitude). These transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other GDPR-compliant mechanisms.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. In case of material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. The last updated date is shown at the top of this page.
